Hey guys! I have been searching for awhile for the perfect readathon to participate in. My problem typically is that I just do not have the time to really read, and let’s face it…my reading is really hit and miss. Sometimes I finish 3 books a week (if I have that many almost done, and just happen to finish them all in a row), or sometimes I am lucky to finish any at all.
But, my last day of Fall Quarter is the 7th (my last test is that day…yay!!), and so when I ran across the information for this readathon I’m about to talk about, I decided I was going to give it a try, because for at least part of it, I will have fewer obligations, with school being out of the way for the quarter.
Running from December 4 through December 11, “The Help Me I’m Way Behind on my Reading, It’s the End of the Year, and I Still Have a Thousand Things to Read” Readathon (aka The I’m Way Behind Readathon) is being run by Amy from bookwormgirls123 and Anna from Adventures with a Book Nerd.
There are no rules to this readathon, but they did make up some challenges, which are optional, and you can do one or all or none:
1.) Read a book from the library.
2.) Read a book that you recently bought.
3.) Read a book that has been on your TBR for more than a year.
4.) Read a 2016 release.
5.) Read a book that was gifted to you.
6.) A book that has more than 2,000 ratings on Goodreads.
7.) Listen to an audio book.
I’m not actually behind, really, on my reading…I’m ahead of my one reading challenge for the year. But I do have a TON of books that need reading, including, still, several holiday-themed books to get through in December still. So this just might be the push that I need to get all of those done – especially after my last final.
