This book meme comes from The Book Date. The idea is that you can share what you have been reading, are reading, and are planning to read, as well as share your link to your post on their blog and find the blog posts of others who have also linked up. A great way to find new bookish blogs.
Because I’m a week behind, I’m going to include all of my read books since I posted #3.
My review of Ready Player One can be found here. But in short, I enjoyed it, and I can’t wait for the movie to come out. 4 out of 5 stars.
I rated How to Start a Fire 4 out of 5 stars, and really enjoyed getting to know these characters. The format was pretty unnerving until I got used to how it jumps around in time, but eventually, all of the story came together in a very satisfying (to me anyway, because I’m always satisfied when a story comes together) way.
4 out of 5 stars for Sugar Skulls also. I listened to the audiobook of this one, and while the narration was not my favorite, it grew on me, and I enjoyed the story from the start in spite of having to get used to the narrators.
Better late than never, I FINALLY finished up Remember When. I gave this one 3 out of 5 stars, mostly because the story, in general, was not enough to hold my interest for more than a short period of time at a time. I didn’t dislike the book…the story was fine. It just lacked some of the excitement of a normal In Death book.
