It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? #8

Its Monday What Are You Reading GWB

This book meme comes from The Book Date. The idea is that you can share what you have been reading, are reading, and are planning to read, as well as share your link to your post on their blog and find the blog posts of others who have also linked up. A great way to find new bookish blogs.

What I Read Last Week GWB

Honestly, this past week was kind of a bad reading week. I DNF’d two books (When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon and The Lady’s Slipper by Deborah Swift). My review of When Dimple Met Rishi can be found here.

The one book that I DID finish this week is actually a re-read. This was at least my 2nd time reading Cinder, but possibly my 3rd. And honestly, I loved it just as much as before.

What I'm Reading Now GWB

IT Stephen King

I have 17 hours remaining in my audiobook of IT. And I must say, I have never heard so many derogatory terms for a person in just 3 hours time. I listen to this book always with my headphones in, but my cheeks and ears were burning for the whole three hours, I think, and I was constantly popping the earbuds in and out just to make absolutely sure that nobody around me could hear the story.

The Uninvited Liz Jensen.jpg

I actually found The Uninvited when I was looking for a different book by the same name on my library’s website. They did not have the other book, but I decided to give this one a try instead. So far (and I’m about 20% of the way in) it is interesting if a little bit strange in the way that events are put together.

Up Next GWB

My TBR for the next month and a half can be found here. I won’t COMPLETELY stick to this list, but my goal is to read as many of the books on it as possible before Halloween is over.

    1. Sorry…I hit the reply button much too early, there! So, in a house I was going to buy would be a huge thing to make me just run away screaming. Lol But I have a fear of spiders, too, so hopefully your potential future homeowners don’t feel the same.

There are spiders in the downstairs of the house I live in… which happens to be where my room and bathroom are, and so every winter I have those guys as unwanted housemates. 😉

Best of luck in getting the hose sold and the garage finished!
